Target Field Trip Grants Description: As part of Target's commitment
to education, Target created the Target Field Trips Grant Program. So
far they have awarded 7,400 grants totaling over $6 million to educators in
all 50 states. Target will award 5,000 grants of up to $800 for the
upcoming school year. You can submit an application for the 2009-2010
school year between August 5, 2009 and November 3, 2009. For complete

Target Art Grants Description: Target funds art programs that
bring the arts to schools or make it affordable for youth and families to
participate in cultural experiences, such as school touring programs, field
trips to the theater or symphony, or artists residencies and workshops in
schools. Most grants average between $1,000 and $3,000. Visit

Target Early Childhood Reading Grants Description: Reading is
an essential element in a child’s educational process. Reading grants are
awarded to schools, libraries and nonprofit organizations, supporting
programs such as weekend book clubs and after-school reading programs that
foster a love of reading and encourage children, from birth through age 9,

The Tiger Woods Foundation Grants Description:
Tiger Woods Foundation grants focus on providing
opportunities to underserved youth, ages 8-18, with the average grant range
between $2,500 and $25,000. The following are approved programmatic areas of
funding: programs that enhance the learning process for youth, year-round
mentoring and/or tutoring programs. Grant deadlines are as follows:
first quarter is February 1, second quarter is May 1, third quarter is

The Earl D Woods Scholarship Description: The
Scholarship has been designed to provide financial assistance to candidates
who demonstrate academic achievement, financial need and a proven commitment
to community service. Scholarships are awarded up to $5,000 per
